My Approach

In my work, I draw on various clinical approaches which are based on psychology theory and evidence based practice. These are researched, ethical and effective. My clinical work is continually guided by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) which I regularly review to keep my approaches up to date.

Presently, my clinical approaches primarily include supporting individuals to build their inner emotional resilience and develop skills to improve the quality of their day to day life. Some of the interventions I use include, Brief  Solution Focused therapeutic approaches, Psychotherapy, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral approaches. I also incorporate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills in my work with clients.

Code of Ethics

I work under the Code of Ethics and Professional Practice Guidelines of the British Psychological Society (www.bps.org.uk).

Clinical Supervision

All professional therapists have supervisors. This ensures safe and informed practice. I receive regular supervision of my clinical work at which time details of clients information may be discussed. Care is taken to ensure the anonymity of clients throughout this process.
